Prelude

In your journey through the valleys of the Eastern Mountains, you stumble upon a group of dwarves who invite you to share their camp. As you get to know your new friends, you learn they are a company of spelunkers who explore abandoned mines and forgotten caves in search of forgotten treasures.

Their latest expedition, they tell you, is to search a network of long abandoned quarries rumored to hold vast riches. The only problem is that the tunnels are known to be cryptic and mysterious. No one who has explored them has ever returned.

Guardian, I have heard that your people have a knack for puzzles. Maybe you can figure out how to navigate these old mines.
