Prelude

As the moon sets over the mountains and a misty dawn breaks in the east, your group slips through the hidden entrances into the safety of the chapter house. At last, you allow yourself a sigh of relief. You are safe here for now, but it will not be long before the Twilight Council begins their hunt for the dagger, and it cannot remain here forever.

Malachi's plan is simple. The Watchers tracked down the Sunshard because of its trace magic. But if there were several daggers emitting the same trace, they could never be certain they had found the original. If they do capture one, there will be several more still out in the world!
