Prelude

In the center of the central plains of Arahnan sits the great mountain known as Watchers Peak. Surrounded by bustling farms and homesteads, this great edifice reaches up into the skies, granting the perfect location for the royal astronomers of the Celestial Observatory. Here, they study the stars, seeking out signs and portents that might aid the King and those who help him govern the land. However, reading the stars is no easy feat. In many cases, different astronomers will come to different conclusions.

For the last few nights, a comet has lit up the night sky. This has caused no small amount of debate at court, with everyone discussing what it could mean. But no one has heard from the royal astronomers themselves. As a member of the Order of the Node Guardians, perhaps you'll be permitted to enter the observatory to find out what's causing the delay.
